The Quantum Catalytics high temperature liquid metal research and development facility in Fall River, MA has licensed technology to NC12 and collaborates on ongoing research into the NC12 gasification process. Quantum Catalytics engineers and facilities are used by NC12 to validate equipment designs through experiments and testing programs.

The Fall River facility has multiple high temperature induction furnaces for research and scale up purposes. Capabilities include the ability to inject solids, liquids and gases into liquid metals while closely controlling the chemistry and other operating parameters. The facility also has a significant in house analytical laboratory to characterize results and monitor experiments.
