Michael D. Sydow
President and Chief Executive Officer

Michael D. Sydow, J.D., is on the Board of Directors of NC12 and serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sydow is an attorney and partner at The Sydow Firm which specializes in finance and complex litigation. Mr. Sydow has wide experience in organization and financing. He has structured financing and acquisitions for clients in a number of industries, including transportation, communications, health care, energy, and entertainment. He has been lead counsel in cases arising from maritime disasters, ship collisions, hazardous materials spills, airline disasters, exposure to toxic materials, commodities trading and hedging, securities violations, major insurance coverage matters, intellectual property, defamation, oil and gas royalties, and international trading disputes. He is also experienced in construction law, government contracts, and utilities regulation. Early in his career Mr. Sydow joined the United States Navy General Counsel’s Office where he was in charge of major litigation involving research and development, construction, supply, and services contracts. He received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University. He attended the University Texas School of Law graduating with Honors. He was admitted to bar in 1976.
